      About the Neuberger Berman EMEA Fund Administration Department: Global Funds Administration oversees the firm’s EMEA mutual fund platform (approx. $35 billion in AUM) which encompasses UCITS, QIAIF and a number of UK-listed, closed-end investment trust vehicles. The team is focused on ensuring the platform can be distributed globally and that the firm’s clients receive the highest standards of service when investing through Neuberger Berman mutual funds. The function is based in London and partners extensively with colleagues in the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

      About the role:

      This is a permanent role to join as a member of the Fund Oversight team in EMEA. This is a key role for a graduate with having some industry experience. In this role, the person will support the wider business in Fund related initiatives taking into consideration the regulatory environment in which the funds operate. The role requires working cross functionally with various levels of stakeholders in Portfolio Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Product Development, Finance and various vendors that provide services to the fund range.

      The role reports to the Manager of Fund Oversight.

      Responsibilities:

      • Active involvement in the following:
        • Control the share class launch process, liaise with the relevant service providers and the fund administrator.
        • Monitor and analyse weekly and monthly fund reports.
        • Respond to ad-hoc queries into team group mailbox including RFP requests.
        • Work with internal stakeholders, Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance as appropriate,
        • Manage day to day issues of the fund administration of funds.
      • Maintain the accuracy of our fund data with external data vendors.
      • Provide information needed for UCITS KIID, PRIIPs KID and prospectus updates.
      • Help resolve operational matters with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Troubleshoot portfolio manager inquiries.
      • Provide operational support for product implementation.
        • Support for BAU tasks of the team

      Requirements:

      • Graduate with some knowledge of fund structures and operations.
      • Skills in data analysis, reporting and problem-solving
      • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional and cross-jurisdictional team.
      • Good written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
      • Proactive attitude, team player, commitment to continuous learning, and willing to challenge status quo to improve processes.
      • Attention to detail, accuracy, and communication.
      • Strong organisational and time management skills.
      • Proficient in Microsoft - Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
