- Load fixtures, bins, and baskets for furnaces with parts up to 35 lbs.
- Ensure proper setup and adherence to procedures during furnace operation.
- Perform basic visual inspections to verify the quality of treated parts.
- Experience in machine operation and general production.
- Ability to follow work instructions meticulously.
- Attention to detail.
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Experience in manufacturing.
- Forklift experience is a bonus.
- 6+ months of heat treating experience.
Job Title: Furnace Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Furnace Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading materials, running the furnace operating process, and monitoring the heat treating process to ensure procedures are followed correctly. You will also perform basic visual inspections to ensure the quality of the treated parts.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 8pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday. You will be part of a team of 11 people in the manufacturing department. The dress code includes jeans and a plain shirt, with steel-toed shoes and safety glasses provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Ipswich, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
