      Our customer, a leading technology company, is seeking a highly skilled In-House Paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large companies, specifically Big Tech. This role requires a professional who can support Gaming Policy / Regulatory Issues and provide support and feedback to drive policy initiatives in the safety, privacy, and digital wellness spaces.

      Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)

      Location: Remote (PST hours are preferred)

      Responsibilities

      • Support Gaming Policy/Regulatory Issues.
      • Provide support and feedback to drive policy initiatives and further the client's global reputation as a safety, privacy, and digital wellness leader.
      • Provide impactful Project Management for strategic initiatives in this space.
      • Provide client project management and legal support to enable compliance and feature work to stay ahead of regulations.
      • Drive GRAIL (Gaming Regulatory Answer and Inquiry Library) usage by organizing and creating indices for public-facing materials only.
      • Equip colleagues with the resources and materials needed to respond to inquiries from policymakers and regulators.
      • Project Management and support expanding participation in Program Lantern, working through privacy and regulator issues with clients, managers, and other teams.
      • Putting timelines in place and project managing various ad hoc initiatives to support the team.
      • The candidate will be working cross-functionally with various teams internally. This person should be able to work independently with little handholding.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate.
      • At least 5 years working as a paralegal in-house at a technology company or similar.
      • General understanding of regulatory regimes and compliance in digital safety; can handle clients independently.
