      Position Summary: GC Pro VP of Artist Relations

      As the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Sales and operations for the Custom House, driving strategic growth, managing profitability, and ensuring operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop and execute strategies that align with the company's objectives and drive sustainable growth. This role requires a strong blend of strategic vision, client relationships, and leadership skills to optimize growth, enhance efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. He or she will be counted on to provide leadership to maintain high performance levels of all direct reports, which includes and A&R Development Manager, Office Manager, Account Managers, and logistic coordinators for the Custom House.

      Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

      • Custom House Strategic Growth and Planning:
        • Align all actions with OKR #1
        • Drive sales and increase sales through new and existing clients.
        • Collaborate with the President and executive team to develop and execute the strategic growth plan, focusing on both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
        • Develop a strategic framework and empower teams to execute, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
        • Track key performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth and profitability.
        • Responsible for development and implementation of new and creative ways to drive sales
      • Custom House Financial Management:
        • Manage P&L for Custom House, gross margins, and costs to deliver sustainable EBITDA growth.
        • Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency gains to optimize financial performance.
        • Conduct budgeting, forecasting and analysis to monitor financial performance
      • Custom House Operations:
        • Oversee planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes, ensuring the highest level of customer service and efficiency.
        • Lead operational excellence programs to drive productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
        • Mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
      • Custom House Vendor and Partner Management:
        • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors and key stakeholders to optimize pricing, terms, and support.
        • Collaborate with vendors to develop business pipelines and drive innovation in products and services.
      • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
        • Collaborate with HR, Legal, IT, RE and other departments to support operational initiatives and drive organizational success.
        • Leverage cross-functional resources and systems to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Directly supervises The Custom House’s “Manager of A&R Development”.
      • Directly supervises Custom e House’s “Office Manager” and associated staff.
      • Directly supervises Account Managers who report to the Custom House

      Requirements

      To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

      • The successful candidate will be a results-focused, operationally-savvy, execution-oriented, experienced leader who possesses general management skills to lead the business with functional oversight including project management, integration, vendor management, customer relationships and post installation service and support.
      • This executive will be responsible for driving both top and bottom-line growth and to rigorously identify and track growth strategies while implementing plans to maximize revenue and drive profitability for the business. The Vice President will rigorously track data and metrics to measure performance and be skilled in both root cause analysis and strategic remediation.
      • This executive will have an in depth understanding of the A & R industry.
      • This successful candidate will be an experienced, dynamic leader who is attracted by the company's mission, vision, and values, as well as the opportunity for growth. This individual will need to have exemplary business and operations skills, the ability to navigate the A & R landscape as well as the agility to shift between detail, strategy, and execution. This individual must be a transparent leader, be able to inspire people and be a great listener, asking the right questions before jumping to conclusions.
      • The right candidate will have the ability to appropriately delegate, simplify context into actionable plans, have a mature understanding of personal opportunities with an ability to self-reflect, be a service driven and loyal leader, and be an innovative thinker. It will be important that the VP shows drive and initiative with a strong work ethic and deliver on commitments. From a leadership perspective, the VP will emphasize teamwork and have the ability to build strong working relationships. This individual must also lead courageously with poise and composure, inspire confidence, and possess strong communication and presentation skills. The VP must be an effective decision maker with a high level of speed and agility.
