      Job Description Summary

      The Commercial Leadership Internship is the pathway to entering the rotational Commercial Leadership Program (CLP). CLP is committed to growing GE's entry-level, high-potential talent people with a passion for technology, a drive for technical excellence, professional skills, and GE values by accelerating their development through intense specialized training and a variety of critical business assignments. You'll build relationships with interns/co-ops and leaders through intern community events, and grow through professional development and mentoring options.

      Job Description

      Essential Responsibilities

      • Complete a 10-week project contributing to the activities of the Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams.

      • Partners with teams within the business unit to address specific needs, communicate about the project approach, and present outcomes. Contributes to various projects and assignments to grow leadership, business acumen, and technical skills. Works within a team setting and/or under guidance from Assignment Manager. For customer-facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

      Qualifications/Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other credible major

      • Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. off a 4.0 scale without rounding

      • Attending a full-time matriculated and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program

      Eligibility Requirements:

      Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.       Benefits:

      Pay rates for this position begin at $18.25/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
