- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general text material, instructional material, instructional programs such as Edgenuity, Aztec, Teknimedia, etc. Must be able to understand government regulations and basic computer concepts.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students and peers.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Ability to perform duties with awareness of all program requirements and Board of Education policies. Summary:

The GED/High School Completion Teacher provides instruction for adult students in the adult education classroom including at the county jail. The teacher must be able to navigate various online programs designed for GED instruction and high school completion and will
receive the necessary training to do so. Must be able to relate to various types of students who have special academic needs and goals in a diverse environment.

$34.61/hour plus prep time
