      The job of a General Maintenance Team Member is to provide maintenance services as needed and/or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities within The Kent Companies! Essential Functions: • Maintain systems and installations through regular preventive maintenance following established schedules. •Install new equipment. •Performs plumbing using tools and equipment as required to clean and unclog sinks, toilets, and floor drains. •Coordinate and work with others efficiently for the purpose of completing project. •Installs system component parts, store and office equipment and facility components •Perform a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities (e.g. carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing etc.) •Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars. •Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns. •Ability to complete both indoor and outdoor work, and sometimes lifting of heavy loads. •Performs other duties as assigned. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug test. Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand and walk up to 10 (ten) hours daily performing the functions as described above. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to climb ladders and step stools; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
