GENERAL WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Our TJ Maxx/ Distribution Center (DC) is looking for top notch Warehouse Associates. This person will play a key role in ensuring merchandise is organized and handled with care to provide value to our customers.

What does a General Warehouse Associate do?

As a General Warehouse Associate, you play a key role in our merchandise journey. You will ensure that the right goods get to the right stores at the right time. You will do this amazing work in a fast paced, safe and efficient way.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include the following:

• Count, select and sort items by style, color, store order or other criteria
• Match receipts against purchase orders
• Pack or unpack merchandise in and out of boxes
• Ticket clothing, accessories, and other items
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers
• Manual lifting and handling of objects such as totes, boxes, or garments

• Work under performance guidelines

Qualifications:

• Successfully complete virtual interview & basic math test

- Additional testing will be required for premium departments

• 1 year of job-related experience is preferred, but not required
• At least 18 years of age

• Be able to lift up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for 10 to 12 hours
• Maintain active while handling objects low on the floor and as high as the shoulder

Shift Opportunities: Shift options are subject to change based on business needs

• B Shift: Friday – Sunday 6:30AM – 7:00PM (Set Schedule)

• C Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00PM- 2:30AM (Set Schedule)

How much do we pay?

Our general warehouse associates start at $16.50 per hour with shift differential of $1.00 for working the evening shift & weekend shift
