What You'll Do:

Job Overview: Under immediate supervision, the Part-Time General Winery Worker performs various duties within a wine bottling factory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lifts and loads onto a conveyor belt bottles/cans which weigh from twelve to twenty-eight pounds when assigned to a “dumping” station.
• Removes any cases which are empty or contain broken bottle(s) when assigned to the detecting station.
• Performs the role of part-time general light worker which includes tasks such as inspecting, standing up fallen bottles on a bottling line, repairing or salvaging product.
• Performs other duties including emptying glass into trash cans, emptying trash cans into larger push carts, removing excessive cases from the conveyor belt, handling pallets of packaging materials, and general cleanup within the factory area.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.
• Perform visual inspections to bottles looking for various defects, as assigned.
• Hand packing bottles to cases.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
• Required to be 18 years of age.
• Required to successfully complete assessment.
• Required to work any shift and any day.
• Required to lift and carry 28 pounds constantly.
• Stand up lifting of 50 pounds required.
• Required to lift and carry 60 pounds occasionally.
• Required to comply with company GMP Policies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Compensation:

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $21.97 - $22.63 / hourly
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
