What We're Looking For:

Join our team at Barge Design Solutions as a Geomaticist/Land Surveyor, where you’ll independently manage a diverse portfolio of geomatics and surveying projects across a wide variety of project types. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted technical resource, providing expert solutions and support to Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects, and other professionals. If you’re ready to contribute your expertise to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and make a tangible impact on projects from planning through execution, we invite you to explore this opportunity.This position independently works on geomatics and surveying projects for various types of projects providing solutions to various Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects, and others.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited program
• Minimum of two years of Geomatics, Surveying, or other relevant experience; 8 years of relevant experience may count in lieu of degree
• Successfully passed the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam.
• Must be proficient with survey calculations, CAD, GIS, and other relevant data in order to make sound recommendations
• Ability to effectively interpret construction documents
• Valid driver's license and sufficient driving record
• Ability to work varying schedules
• Ability to travel at times including overnight

Work environment includes working outdoors and in rough terrain. Individuals will walk, sit, stand while operating various equipment, tools and machinery. Individuals may need to carry, push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs. Individuals may need to climb to various elevations and requires visual acuity sufficient to read alpha/numeric symbols and perform computation and design.
