What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the management, development, and distribution of geospatial data for various user groups
- Develop geospatial datasets from digital data, field data, GPS data, and satellite images
- Analyze digital data to produce cartographic output, geo-databases, reports, and applications
- Collect GPS data and other field data to support the development of geospatial datasets
- Ensure compliance with SDSFIE Standards for current and future geospatial data

What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. in Geography, Ecology, Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field with emphasis on geospatial analysis
- Ability to create and analyze geospatial datasets from aerial photography and remote sensing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to create cartographic products for reports and presentations
- Experience with Global Positioning Systems and ESRI-based GIS software
- Must be willing to work in adverse weather and field conditions; valid driver's license required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working on military installations is a plus
