Associates Gift Shop

The Elliot Hospital Gift Shop has an array of gifts that you can send to any patient including floral arrangements, decorative items for the home, stuffed animals, clothing for infants, toiletries, cards, candies and more! We have a large selection of stuffed animals for baby and children. The Gift Shop carries Van Otis and Granite State Chocolates candy, that is made here in Manchester. Our jewelry and accessory line are large with scarves and pocketbooks. We also have a great corner in our shop that is filled with country items for your home.

What You’ll Do

Opens and/or closes the gift shop, including reconciling POS register and lottery terminal.

Maintains and organizes stockroom. Restocks gift shop shelves and builds visual displays. Restocks lottery machine and runs daily reports. Processes incoming shipments enters information into POS system, and prices merchandise.

Covers POS register and completes other gift shop duties as needed to include customer service, sales, and returns. Performs other administrative tasks as assigned.

Manages inventory as required and as needed.

Performs end-of-year inventory. Performs random audits of inventory on a monthly basis.

Educational Needs

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience working in a retail setting preferred. POS system experience also preferred.

Schedule: Part Time - Varied shifts. For example, some days you will work 9-5 while others would be a later shift, such as 11am-730pm. Typically, 3: 8-hour days. Occasional Saturday morning coverage may be needed.
