      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide analytical services for the development and maintenance of geographic data for the Department of Forestry and partner organizations
      - Develop and maintain GIS vector and raster datasets, cartographic deliverables, and ArcGIS web applications
      - Document GIS environments, workflows, and metadata for geospatial layers
      - Produce computer-generated cartographic deliverables, dashboards, and story maps
      - Communicate technical and non-technical information effectively to various stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Working knowledge of geospatial data collection, cartography, and geographic representation techniques
      - Experience with SQL database querying and proficient use of ArcGIS applications and tools
      - Knowledge of web-based GIS technology, including ArcGIS Server and SQL Server services
      - Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
      - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in image processing, photogrammetry, and remote sensing
      - Strong background in Urban Planning
      - Skills in interpreting surveyed plats, topographic, and zoning maps
      - Proficiency in Python and SQL database scripting
      - Familiarity with remote sensing analysis techniques
