What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the development and maintenance of GIS data
- Conduct mapping and data analysis
- Follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Collaborate with team members towards program progress and team goals
- Perform production line work and other GIS drafting functions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
- 1-2 years of experience working with GIS or academic coursework using GIS technology
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data simulations
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with GE Smallworld and ESRI software (ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Online)
- Knowledge of electric utilities
- Previous experience in production line work, CAD, or GIS applications
