What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with various departments to support wind, solar, and storage project siting and selection
- Generate production-quality GIS maps and maintain spatial databases
- Research and evaluate datasets to inform renewable energy siting decisions
- Analyze industry competition, environmental constraints, and market economics
- Train new team members on workflows related to competition analysis

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of GIS work experience with applications such as ArcGIS
- Strong skills in Esri ArcGIS desktop software, ArcGIS Online, ArcPro, and Portal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in database-driven applications and GIS software
- Strong organizational and effective communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in renewable energy development and project-level evaluation
- Familiarity with regional transmission grids and land records
- Knowledge of local and state permitting and environmental studies
- Understanding of economics related to energy markets
- Experience with design, development, and debugging of GIS applications
