What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Update and maintain ArcGIS online maps for various projects
- Manage data updates and ensure good recordkeeping practices
- Develop tools to improve and automate GIS processes
- Communicate GIS concepts and issues effectively to project staff with minimal GIS knowledge
- Troubleshoot problems, research solutions, and seek continuous improvements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in GIS, cultural resources, biology, natural resource management, environmental studies, geology, or a similar field
- Minimum of 2 years of GIS experience
- Strong familiarity with ArcGIS Online and managing content through ArcGIS Pro
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and follow instructions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing files for complex projects without enterprise-level tools
- Familiarity with typical utility operations and construction activities
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, HTML, Javascript, or SQL
- Familiarity with Survey 123 Connect or ArcGIS Survey 123 Web Designer
- Previous experience in NEPA, FERC, NHPA, ESA, or other environmental programs
