What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain transmission data and conduct associated transmission-related analyses
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support project siting and selection
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while communicating with team members
- Perform evaluations on renewable energy development projects, including siting and permitting
- Work with database-driven applications and GIS software to analyze and visualize data

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of GIS work experience using GIS applications, such as ArcGIS
- Strong proficiency with Esri ArcGIS desktop software, ArcGIS Online, Arcoroc, and Portal
- Thorough understanding of transmission systems and GIS capabilities
- Experience in real estate and project development
- Strong organizational and communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in renewable energy development, including siting and regional transmission grids
- Familiarity with local and state permitting processes and environmental studies
- Experience with PSSE or similar software
