      We are on the search for a proactive teammate with a strong attention to detail, who is passionate about researching and solving monetary exceptions, and is comfortable navigating in ambiguity.

      This role requires an in office component and is open to those based inn Omaha, NE.

      Meet our team

      As a teammate in Global Exceptions Operations, your primary responsibilities will be supporting a variety of tasks related to transaction processing, exception management processing, and research. You will demonstrate sound judgment while working out of multiple tools in support of PayPal brands. You will resolve external inquiries from both customers and PayPal Partners with predictable, accurate and timely resolution to their questions and inquiries.

      • Identify problems and issues by performing relevant research using internal and external tools.
      • Apply analytic techniques to large and complex data sets in order to take appropriate action on accounts.
      • P rovide outstanding customer service by meeting productivity and quality standards of assigned queues.
      • Problem Solving Skills that include operating independently while managing multiple competing priorities with difficult deadlines and exhibiting a sense of urgency when necessary.

      Your day to day

      • Continuous learning and adaptation to new software and technologies that support queue and exceptions based work related but not limited to, accounting exceptions, missing bank withdrawal and recall, check queues, bank emails, payment files, bank wires, etc.
      • Responsible for emails and internal escalation queue requests, assisting in processing of files for submission, researching eligible accounts, as well as other related processing as assigned.
      • Adding and Remove funds from Customer Accounts and General Ledgers in accordance with internal Policy and approvals.
      • Regular engagement with customers and other stakeholders on the status and processing of their accounts.
      • Strong understanding of company products, services, and related data.

      What do you need to bring

      • Experience within Global Exceptions Operations, Customer Support and Financial Services, transaction processing, banking, ACH Support, or ACH exception processing preferred.
      • Advanced research and analytical skills such as an ability to assess and analyze large amounts of data with a high attention to detail, identify patterns, trends, & pitfalls. Provide feedback and supporting evidence on critical information.
      • Expert oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills whereby you convey complex information accurately, clearly, and quickly to all levels of management.
      • Familiarity using Microsoft Suite and internal tools such as URP, SCM, OTRS, Zendesk, Genesys preferred.
