      We are looking for a Global Internal Communications Manager to join our fun Corporate Communication team on a 12-month basis. This role will be based at our London County Hall office and has the flexibility of hybrid working, and a salary of up to £50,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.

      Reporting into the Director of Corporate Communications, we are looking for an Internal Communications Manager who can support and drive internal comms across the globe to 30,000 team members working in over 140 attractions! This role is ideal for someone who is a creative and digital communicator, willing to own projects and is comfortable working at a fast pace with multiple global stakeholders.

      About the Role...

      The Internal Communications Manager position is integral to the global Merlin group and attractions, ensuring our purpose, values and vision are clearly communicated to our diverse teams in an engaging and effective way, ultimately enabling them to deliver joy and happiness to our guests.

      Working closely with the Corporate Communications Director, Content and Video Producer and Global Communications Executive, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering the new People & Experience engagement strategy, with particular focus on creating digital content that engages frontline teams globally. An understanding of communication trends and different audiences is essential.

      This role is fast-paced and varied, with ownership of significant high-profile projects including planning, scripting, and delivery of live monthly CEO Townhalls (with the support of an external Producer), managing the ongoing employee communication app* and analysing success, and leading a clear communications strategy around our annual employee engagement survey and strategic pulse surveys.

      This role manages the Video and Content Producer to ensure the development of regular, varied content for a variety of platforms that support our key messages, including dynamic communications from the CEO and Senior Leadership Team that fosters connections with the whole Merlin family. Day-to-day, the Internal Communications Manager will support the Global Communications Executive to ensure company news is shared widely via the intranet (Microsoft SharePoint), communication apps, newsletters and in the global Townhall. You will collaborate closely with wider departments to ensure all communications provide consistent messaging and align with our communications strategy - this includes supporting on the delivery of key Diversity, Equity & Inclusion campaigns throughout the year.

      About You...

      • You will have previous experience managing internal communications and a small team, ideally in a fast-paced global setting, as well as;
      • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Hands-on experience delivering impactful and concise communications to varied audiences
      • You will be comfortable working closely with, and confidently advising, senior stakeholders
      • Have the ability to use internal communications tools and technology, including website and app CMS / SharePoint
      • You can demonstrate excellent project management skills - including team, budget and agency management
      • You are able to understand and interpret complex issues, execute against strategic priorities and remain composed and focused in pressurised environments
      • You have an understanding of video content production, creative briefing, audience segmentation and latest content trends
      • You are a motivated self-started with a passion for creative communications who enjoys working in a collaborative team
