      What you will be doing

      Are you a talented and driven college student seeking an internship with a global Fortune 11 healthcare company? At Cencora, we are looking for individuals with an inclusive mindset and a passion for making a difference in human and animal health.

      Our 10-week paid internship program has been developed to provide students with hands-on experience to learn more about the Healthcare industry and the impact to human and animal health. This internship program will provide you with professional development, networking and volunteer opportunities. You will learn about the Guiding Principles of our culture but most importantly, have the opportunity to become a key contributor in the future talent pipeline of Cencora.

      Start Date: June 3, 2024

      End Date: August 9. 2024

      Location: Remote (US)

      As an intern at Cencora, you will assist with various function-specific assignments under the guidance of our designated manager. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to established projects and initiatives while gaining valuable skills that will prepare you for future career opportunities within our organization.

      The Global Pharma Services Marketing intern will work with Cencora’s marketing team that supports our Global Pharma Services division and assist with a variety of projects and assignments to help support initiatives related to market research, product marketing , and digital and social media campaigns within the healthcare and bio pharma industry . This team is focused on marketing the value of Cencora’s full portfolio of commercialization services in the US and globall y to biopharma companies .

      This internship will provide the opportunity to work alongside a team of marketers and learn about the biopharma industry , translate business goals into B2B marketing plans, and how to execute various marketing related initiatives .

      Position guidance and management

      Th is intern will report to a Marketing Manager, who will act as a coach and mentor providing guidance regarding professional development.

      Responsibilities may include

      • Gain ing industry knowledge and collaborate with team members to help execute marketing tactics and objectives .

      • Researc h ing and analyzing market trends , competitive messaging and value propositions .

      • Working with external partners to develop customer personas.

      • Creating presentations for commercial teams to communicate market trends and competitive information.

      • Learn ing new digital tools and marketing technologies to nurture and convert online audiences .

      • Researc h ing event market ing trends and analyze event key performance indicators .

      • Support customer engagement efforts including presentations, communications and promotional events and campaigns.

      • Assisting the broader marketing team with miscellaneous projects when needed.

      What your background should look like

      Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion of a bachelor’s degree.

      • Must be a minimum of 18 years old
      • Must be able to work 30 to 40 hours per week
      • Completed at least one semester of study at an accredited college or university. Have completed relevant coursework including Marketing or similar
      • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
      • Good project management skills, strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and time management skills
      • Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
      • Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time
      • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
      • Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
      • Strong attention to detail, solution-oriented problem solver
      • Willingness to learn, research and bring some great fresh ideas to the table
      • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team settin g

      *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
