      Job Purpose:
      The Global Product Management & Marketing Director is accountable for leading a team of Product, Clinical and Marketing Managers responsible for the development, implementation and marketing communication across the full Huntleigh portfolio & through full product lifecycle.


      To set Product & Marketing priority and executions for Huntleigh in full alignment with cross-function teams and the commercial priorities in Sales regions to achieve the financial targets and driving requirements for high quality offerings that deliver exceptional value to customers. This role is an active member of the Senior Leadership Team in Huntleigh Healthcare.


      Key Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Lead the work to set the annual product strategy and PDP/product improvement priorities
      • Proactively ensure the management of up- and downstream activities related to Huntleigh product portfolio. This would be inclusive of defining development strategy for product portfolio as well as guiding and supporting the sales organization in driving revenue, profitability and market share for the products:
      o Develop and own the Product Development & the Go-to-Market Strategy for the Product Category, inclusive of building of the commercial story and global pricing strategy.
      o Develop competitive landscape knowledge and argumentations
      o Own product development and maintenance roadmaps, scoping and delivery of product requirements of the category into all R&D Product Development Projects, OEM / Distribution Projects and any other inorganic growth projects
      o Product lifecycle management incl. obsolensence
      o Develop clinical & customer education plan / platform
      • Be passionate about satisfying customers and take appropriate means to consult and align portfolio on these needs:
      o Manage relationship with sales regions
      o Manage relationship with external agencies
      o Develop key KOL relationships
      • Own and develop global commercial communication across our two main channels, Sales force & Web. Own planning / prioritization as well as execution alongside key stakeholders
      • Contiously develop Huntleigh brand & key product brands in key markets targeting key customer stakeholders
      • Optimize how we deliver content across external partners (agencies), internal competencies & general processes across stakeholders. Deliver high-quality and fit-for-purpose content e.g. launch packs incl. sales aids, spec sheets, promo videos, clinical application videos and customer educations etc
      • Communicate to and build constructive relationships with all relevant internal and external parties, suppliers, opinion leaders and customers.
      o In partnership with R&D, agree on project prioritization and drive according to agreed roadmap schedule.
      o In collaboration with Sales leadership team, drive roll-out plans and launch packs of new products. Ensure deliverables are continuously optimized towards the commercial need. Ensure close market contact (direct markets) to align on where we get best uptake and leverage of our deliverables
      o Proactively work & (influence where necessary) with Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, and any other function needed to support in development or commercial projects.
      • Manage budgets according to plans and/or established priorities.
      • Proactively get involved with quality challenges related to product line.
      • Manage Post Market Surveillance process for assigned product portfolio.
      • Perform all activities in compliance with relevant Quality System standards and maintain post marketing surveillance information.
      • Manage the product management and marketing team day to day and ensure proper personal development plans and ongoing development discussions


      Quality System Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
      Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
      Each organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities. Training shall be documented.

      Education or qualifications:
      • A Marketing or Business Degree, or equivalent - Essential

      Previous background and work experience:
      • 8-10 years product management and marketing experience in Medical device industry preferably within Patient Monitoring or Diagnostics
      • Proven track record bringing market leading new products and solutions to market in Medical Devices or Health Care Products, with hands-on experience in brand development, developing commercial collateral / sales material, launch packs and content for digital campaigns
      • Strong ability to translate customer needs into commercially viable products and solution
      • Ability to work in diverse, international settings across dissimilar cultures and time zones
      • Team management experience - Essential

      Other Essential Requirements:
      • It is essential to have excellent written and spoken English.
      • UK Requirements: Eligibility to work in the UK (essential).
      • Driving Licence: Required to hold a valid UK drivers licence.
      • Travel: International travel and interacting with other business cultures is an inherent part of the role
      • IT: Must be have immediate level Microsoft Office skills namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
