      Summary:

      Delinea is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Global Tax Manager to join our Tax team. The selected candidate will work with our Tax Senior to manage our global tax compliance and reporting, with the assistance of outsourced service providers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational and process improvement skills and has experience with tax matters encountered by multinational software companies. This is a fast-paced, growing environment with the ability to work fully remote. You also will have the opportunity to broaden your exposure to other areas in FP&A and accounting as the role will report directly to our Senior Director, Finance, who has a tax background.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Partner with outsource tax providers on the global tax provision and compliance process

      • Manage the global R&D tax incentive process, liaising with outsourced service providers and our internal engineering function

      • Evaluate the tax implications of company activities and develop strategies to minimize the tax obligations across Company footprint

      • Review transfer pricing policies and maintain transfer pricing analysis and documentation

      • Assist with overseeing indirect tax and transaction tax compliance in applicable jurisdictions including sales tax, property tax and VAT

      • Maintain up-to-date tax and accounting technical knowledge monitoring foreign, federal, and state and local tax legislations and asses potential tax impact to the company

      • Coordinate with global accounting, legal, and treasury members on cross-functional projects/initiatives

      • Manage and coordinate global tax audits and communications with tax authorities

      • Plan, direct, and execute various tax planning projects


      What You’ll Need:

      • Proven work experience as a tax manager in the software/technology industry

      • 5+ years of relevant tax experience (some “Big 4” public accounting experience preferred)

      • 1+ years in a supervisory role

      • Experience with a wide variety of tax functions and areas including compliance, accounting, planning, income tax, sales and use tax, property tax is preferred

      • Strong computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft including Outlook, Word, and Excel (Index/Match, Sumifs, X Lookups, and Pivot Tables).

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines, working across business leadership

      • Excellent analytical skills, with detailed oriented personality and ability to derive critical insights independently

      • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems

      • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

      • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline

      • MA in Taxation and/or CPA Certification (preferred, not required)

      We’d Love to See (but not mandatory):

      • Experience working in a cybersecurity company

      • Experience with Netsuite and Avalara

      • Experience with PowerBI and/or other data analytics tools

      The starting base salary range for this position is $130,000-150,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications and other qualifications of the candidate.
