Global Vendor Master Data Cleanup and Contract Compliance Specialist

Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical contractor to take on a global vendor master data cleanup project within our NetSuite ERP systems. The primary responsibilities will include auditing and validating vendor information, ensuring data integrity, and verifying compliance with IRS guidelines for W-9s and 1099s. Additionally, the role will involve reviewing contracts to ensure accurate terms of service documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Cleanup :

• Conduct a thorough audit of existing vendor master data in NetSuite to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Update and ensure accuracy of all data (addresses, banking details, contact information, payment terms, TIN/EIN numbers, etc.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, including duplicate vendors.
• Implement and apply data validation rules and procedures to maintain ongoing data integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with company standards.

Contract Compliance :

• Review current terms of service against written contracts for accuracy.
• Identify and correct any inconsistencies between terms of service and contract documentation.
• Update and document terms of service to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to confirm all changes are approved and documented.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience managing vendor master data in NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of W-9 and 1099 reporting requirements and IRS guidelines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with contract review and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to read and understand vendor contracts.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
