      Hourly base is $57,200/year to 60,320/year based upon experience.

      Overtime available.

      MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: EXCELLENT MACHINE OPERATOR SKILL SET - STRONG MECHNICAL SKILL SET/BACKGROUND - KNOWLEDGEABLE IN OPERATING TOOLS METRIC AND STANDARD - EXCELLENT TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS.


      SUMMARY
      This position assists the Supervisor to manage and maintain the overall Finishing Department operations. This position is
      to assist in the continual coordination or process improvement while maintaining a positive attitude, etiquette, and high
      level of urgency with the department's employees. This is to show high levels of support and urgency in Safety, Quality,
      and Production. Assists in determining areas for improvement and provides training and coaching through positive
      employee involvement and team building.


      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
      1. Has complete knowledge/capability to maintain, run, and set-up all machinery within the Finishing Department.
      Machines include:
      a Domino 110
      b Visionfold 110 and Cartonpack
      c Alpina w/ Easy Feeder and Cartonpack II
      d Masterfold w/ Easy Feeder, Batch Inverter, and Cartonpack II
      e HHS gluing system on the four gluers
      f Heiber Schroeder window machines
      2. Responsible to work closely with the Supervisor to support the production goals/safety/AIB goals set forth for the
      department.
      3. Reviews Company job jacket/factory ticket for department scheduling, process flow, and customer specifications.
      4. Reviews materials for completeness and accuracy prior to and completion of jobs.
      5. Responsible to be proficient in adhering to all departmental SOP's, quality, and production machine standards
      while meeting customers' deadlines.
      6. Responsible to be proficient in all Company computer programs or modules to assist in maintaining correct and
      timely processing.
      7. Responsible for departmental communication to ensure all variables of the job are understood by the operators
      and crews.
      8. Work closely with supervisor to train operators, assistants and inspector packers through positive coaching and
      mentoring to assist them in raising their skills.
      9. Responsible for communicating departmental supply needs, yet maintaining low inventories.
      10. Responsible for maintaining machine maintenance logs and overseeing timely repairs. Lead is not to perform
      repairs that are beyond their training or manipulates the OEM's specifications.
      11. Responsible for first article quality approvals while working to support the QA Manager's processes and
      procedures.
      12. Occasionally fills in all departmental areas to maintain proper production (i.e. vacations, sickness, production
      needs, break relief and training).
      13. Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Vehicle(PIV).
      14. Assist with maintaining organization of the department, work stations and cleaning.
      15. Other duties as assigned.


      QUALIFICATIONS
      1. Process job skills, operations or related discipline or equivalent experience in stated department of Folding Carton
      Industry.
      2. Knowledge of Company computer programs (Microsoft products, Encore modules).
      3. Strong ability to articulate information verbally and into formal documentation.
      4. High technical and problem‐solving skills.
      5. Knowledge of materials, process, and procedures is a must.
      6. Demonstrated team building skills with high level of ethics.
      7. Demonstrated ability to facilitate and maintain process improvement teams.
      8. Strong leadership skills.
      9. Sense of urgency.
      10. Strong level of people sensitivity
