Job summary
We are a growing, rapidly developing, dynamic, patient-focused provider of a wide range (outpatients, Talking Therapies and primary care) of services for the NHS. We believe in high quality and well-run services that deliver the care our patients need. We are also a GP Federation supporting 11 practices and a population of c.150,000 people.
The Governance and Compliance Administrator provides support to the DHC Governance and Compliance Manager and Service Managers to help ensure the delivery of both excellent standards in safe and effective services and the expectations of the DHC Governance Framework. This includes the development and implementation of effective incident management and complaints systems, monitoring the implementation of recommendations and dissemination of lessons learned.
The post holder provides effective administrative activities and processes relating to clinical governance, quality assurance and Care Quality Commission compliance within DHC services. Supporting and participating in all governance meetings including DHC wide and service specific. Assisting with document control and policy revision and accessing and maintaining records on RADAR and TEAMNET.
Working in a small team within the DHC Head Office team based at Holmhurst Medical Centre in Redhill, Surrey, the Governance and Compliance Administrator reports to the Governance and Compliance Manager who in turn reports to DHCs Chief Executive Officer and the Medical Director.
Main duties of the job
As our Governance and Compliance Administrator, you are a key member of the governance and support general administration functions. You will assist the Governance and Compliance Manager in defining governance processes, facilitating discussions and advising colleagues on how best practices might be adopted, documenting those processes as they are agreed upon, and seeing them through to delivery to ensure we offer the highest quality care to our patients, consultants, and teams.
