On 1 April 2023 Health Education England became part of the new NHS England. Our people are our most important asset; recruiting and retaining the best talent remains crucial to our success. We continue to recruit externally where we cannot fill vacancies internally. We hope you choose to join us but please be aware that some roles may be subject to change in the future. We want to attract and retain highly skilled people to enable us to work with our partners to plan, recruit, educate and train the health workforce. Please note, some supporting documentation attached to this vacancy refers to the legacy organisation, previously known as Health Education England, now NHS England. Work is continuing to harmonise the new NHS England recruitment service and any reference to Health Education England will be updated in due course. • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
