Job summary
We are advertising for a 6-8 sessions GP Partner
Due to a partner stepping down, Nightingale Valley Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated partner to join our fantastic team. From our main surgery in Brislington and our branch surgery in St Anne's, we care for over 14,800 patients. Our current team consists of 5 partners, 8 salaried GPs, 2 prescribing ANPs and a committed nursing team. We have excellent management, administrative and reception staff supporting our clinicians.
Nightingale Valley Practice has a long and highly regarded reputation for clinical teaching and education with 4 current trainers hosting GP trainees. We also teach medical students and provide regular education sessions for staff. We are a high achieving sessional research practice and amongst the top regional recruiters for the last few years. We are enthusiastic about reducing the environmental impact of our practice with various different ongoing initiatives including the availability of e-bikes for home visiting.

Our main surgery is managed by NHS Property Services and our branch surgery is privately let and purpose built.
As part of Connexus PCN we are committed to collaborative working with our neighbouring practices, which was particularly commended during the challenges that Covid19 has brought us recently. One of our partners job shares the clinical director role and we are leading on many of the DES contractual projects. Our loyal and friendly team are passionate about high quality patient care and prioritise staff wellbeing. Through the PCN we jointly employ a very successful ARRS team including 4 FCPs, 4 social prescribers, 4 mental health and wellbeing coaches with 2 MH Practitioners, an AP pharmacist and 4 clinical pharmacists alongside a prescribing hub team, a care home/home visiting paramedic lead and 3 care coordinators.

They will be part of a partnership focused on continual quality improvement and be able to drive change in striving for the highest standard of care for all of our practice population.
They will also have the ability to contribute to and develop business related activities alongside the other partners, including expanding our existing portfolio of work, and seeking and developing new opportunities.
