Under the guidance of the History Graduate Program Director and History Department Chair, Graduate Assistants:
1. Attend classes taught by their assigned faculty;
2. On occasion, lecture, proctor exams, show films and complete Power Point Presentations;
3. Assist in grading assignments, term papers, essays and exams;
4. Provide assistance to students who require help with history classes;
5. Hold regularly scheduled office hours;
6. Will assist the department with special events;
7. Complete other duties as assigned including checking the departmental mailbox, refilling supplies, making copies/scanning documents, and organizing;
8. Schedule 20 hours/week, and record hours worked in a timely fashion both in the GA notebook and online in Web Time Entry.About the company
