      We have an exciting opportunity to join the pricing department at AXA retail. As a graduate pricing analyst in the intermediary team, you will support projects and analyses in the broker space across home and motor products. This role operates within a fast-paced environment, where frequent changes in the competitive landscape, data availability, and modelling methods present an ongoing challenge to maintain and improve AXA’s position in the market. You will be part of a highly skilled technical team, collaborating to disrupt the market by providing ongoing value and peace of mind to our customers while ensuring the sustainability of the portfolio.

      The Intermediary market holds unrealised potential, and the changes we implement are quickly measurable, making our team’s contribution recognisable equally we have accountability for our proposals! This role is suitable for someone with an interest in price optimisation and a passion for modelling, statistics, and innovation.

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Assist in supporting the end-to-end delivery of value adding price optimisations.
      • Investigation of customers responses to price variations via impact analysis and scenario modelling.
      • Understanding and improving customer lifetime value outcomes.
      • Competitor analysis and understanding market activity.
      • Support on new deals, offers and product testing.
      • Provide support to managers to allow them to represent pricing in trading committees and being clear on targets.
      • Ensure the customer is at the heart of all pricing decisions, guaranteeing fair value is delivered, with a strong focus on the impact on existing customers.
      • Data reconciliation, ensuring thorough process documentation and modifying trading performance.
      • Build strong relationships with managers, peers and stakeholders.

      What we’re looking for:

      • Higher education (2:1 degree or higher) in a mathematics related discipline.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and logically, even when faced with unfamiliar challenges.
      • Motivated to persevere in the face of setbacks.
      • Ability to ,clearly communicate complex concepts to a range of audiences.
      • Knowledge of tools such as R, Python or other analytical language/tools
      • Understanding of different statistical techniques for analysis is an advantage.
      • The ability to thrive in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
      • Competent to work under pressure and to strict deadlines whilst maintaining reliability and accuracy.
      • A continuous appetite to learn and develop skills.

      As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

      This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
