      In our Graduate Proposal Engineer and Project Manager role, you will learn about design tools, process review, cost budgeting and proposal editing to project management to lead Product ITR opportunities from technical solution development stage, through to execution, and on to project completion.
      At the same time, you will be upskilled in all of the essential areas of business.
      You’ll finish off the Graduate Scheme ready to take up a rewarding career.

      A clear training plan is in place to ensure that our graduates spend time in various activities to ensure their skills are fully developed throughout our winning program.


      For this role, you will be based in Milan, Italy.

      Here’s some of the activities you will be involved in during the graduate scheme:

      • The Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS) Products and Standards (P&S) Team is a team located throughout Europe providing Product Support to the organisation, including, executing Product ITR projects from Inquiry through to Remittance.
      • Our graduate will be developing skills in design tools, process reviews, and cost budgeting & proposal editing to project management, to lead Product ITR opportunities from the technical solution development stage, through to execution, and on to project completion.
      • We are focused on driving profitable growth while balancing risks across the entire product portfolio in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with a focus on Pressurised Ultrafiltration (PUF) and Reverse Osmosis and Electrodeionization (ROED).
      • This role will work closely with all teams (Product Management, Sales, Service etc) involved in the sales cycle.
      • Key metrics will focus on hit rate, on-time proposals submittal and meeting operational plans for orders and margins, executing targets on budget and within schedule.

      There are two streams to this role:

      • 50% Core: Owning Product water treatment opportunities across EMEA from Inquiry to completion. Leading P&S transversal projects incorporating our technologies developing solutions and proposals. Supporting other areas of business with standard product support.
      • 50% Projects: Participation in the Graduate program and P&S Continual improvement themed projects aimed at improving customer experience, standardisation of products and business operations.

      A clear training plan will be provided and you will spend time in various teams (other technology teams/Sales/Service etc) to learn skills to assist the role.

      The aim of the role is that by the end of the program to be fully capable of:

      Products and Standard Support

      • Support all areas of business with expertise in standard systems product knowledge.
      • Develop winning solutions.

      ITR

      • Own and guide the ITR product opportunities process from inquiry to project completion adhering to the playbook throughout.
      • Owning, and guiding each step of the process to completion.
      • Focusing on all projects that incorporate multiple technologies.
      • Working with teams to guide completion and seek solutions as required.
      • Executing projects to plan and within budget aiming for margin and timeframe improvements.

      General

      • Developing knowledge of Water Treatment Technologies and Processes.
      • Developing knowledge of our equipment, competitors and markets
      • Development of a strong Health & Safety compliant mindset in all activities.
      • Participating in all team rhythms
      • Listen to and relay market intelligence.

      Our ideal graduate will have:

      • Degree in science discipline (water science, chemical or mechanical engineering, environmental sciences)
      • Strong oral and written communication skills.
      • Ability to speak effectively to groups
      • Strong problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 10%.
      • Driving licence.
      • Fluency in English
      • Strong abilities in French is a plus
