What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone, providing crisis intervention and emotional support
- Build rapport and engage clients in a professional and empathetic manner
- Assess risk and document calls according to protocol
- Provide resources and information to individuals in need
- Assist with developing safety plans and implementing emergency interventions as necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, PhD, M.A., or M.S.)
- Clinical practice emphasis from an accredited program (COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE)
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state requirements
- Reside in Michigan and hold a valid license (LLMSW, LLC, LLP, LLMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LLP, or LP)
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space for remote work

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in crisis intervention or telephonic counseling
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices
