What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage all pre-award activities for assigned principal investigators
- Develop and prepare grant proposals, including budget creation and document formatting
- Serve as the primary contact on proposal submissions and coordinate with the Office of Sponsored Programs
- Ensure compliance with funding regulations and guidelines
- Monitor compliance in financial policies and assist in resolving compliance-related issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant grant or contract management experience
- Intermediate word processing and spreadsheet skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid communication skills to explain options and solutions clearly

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in research administration or grants management
- Familiarity with human subject training requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively with post-award staff
