      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with faculty and research staff to identify new funding opportunities and prepare grant applications
      - Manage the execution of Subawards, Sponsored Consulting Agreements, and Subaward Amendments
      - Ensure compliance with agency and University guidelines for grant applications and funding
      - Coordinate with various departments for multi-investigator grant submissions and transition grant administration
      - Handle post-award activities including account creations, compliance monitoring, and grant closing processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum educational requirement: College or university degree in a related field
      - 2-5 years of work experience in grant/contract and financial administration
      - Knowledge of budgets, ledgers, invoices, and fiscal reporting
      - Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in a research environment
      - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Five years of progressively responsible experience in grant/contract administration in an academic setting
      - Experience with accounting systems and sponsored program administration
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills
      - Demonstrated initiative in improving processes and enhancing systems
      - Ability to research issues and propose effective solutions
