What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the post-award administration of various grants within pediatric divisions
- Assist in the creation, negotiation, and administration of grants, contracts, and research proposals
- Develop grant budgets pre-award and monitor compliance with policies and regulations
- Analyze monthly financial performance and research variances against sponsor budgets
- Maintain records of division grant activity and provide reports to leadership as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of economics, accounting, mathematics, administration, law, government, and human resources
- Strong skills in resource management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management
- Experience in grant administration and compliance with funding agency requirements
- Ability to analyze financial data and trends effectively
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with grant budgeting and financial forecasting
- Familiarity with research-related systems, such as iLab and Forte administration
- Previous experience working in an academic or research environment
