      Schedule:

      Flexible, established around class schedule. Must be able to work 10-15 hours during office hours of Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Some evening and weekend hours may be required for project work such as special events, event table hosting, etc.

      Qualifications:

      Experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Familiarity designing within a set of brand guidelines. Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn.

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      Commitment to work through summer is required.

      Prefer candidates majoring in graphic design, art, or a related field.

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      Use your passion for graphic design and campus to connect with fellow students as a graphic designer with Student Affairs. This is a paid internship. This position works closely with the communications assistant director to develop content, communication strategies, and find new ways to connect with students on campus! From websites to social, in this position, you will gain valuable design experience, learn about real-world communications scenarios as part of a communications team, and build an extensive design portfolio.

      Duties for this important position include but are not limited to:
      • Create compelling content through design and brand consistency.
      • Assist with the adherence to the editorial calendar.
      • Develop a wide variety of communications and marketing collateral.
      • Juggle multiple projects while effectively managing deadlines.
      • Contribute to team content planning and development.
      • Other duties, as assigned.
