      Job Description:

      The Client Graphics Group is responsible for delivering software for industry leading GPU, 3D, media and compute. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world class engineering. We are looking for an Intern to join our team.

      In this internship you will help us with the following responsibilities:
      Develop tools and methodologies to support driver performance verification.
      Data collection and first level triage of issues for 3D workloads
      Analyze and characterize 3D workloads.
      Performance analysis of 3D workloads

      This is an exciting opportunity to work on driver optimizations for game performance and the internship will run for 6 + months.

      Qualifications:

      This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly . You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

      Minimum Qualifications:
      Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or any STEM related degree

      1month + of educational or work experience in any of the following areas: D3D, OpenGL, Vulkan, HLSL, GLSL, OpenCL, CUDA, GPU architecture, graphics rendering

      1 month+ of education or work exp in C/C++

      Preferred Qualifications:

      Experience writing low level software and familiarity with 3D/2D graphics theory, implementation, and optimizations; operating system and compiler theory is also very useful

      Scripting in Python is preferred (not required)

      Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

      US, California:$63,000.00-$166,000.00

      S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

      Work Model for this Role

      This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
