- Create visually compelling and on-brand marketing materials, including but not limited to digital advertisements, videos, flyers, presentations, posters, signage, and more.
- Collaborate with the Health Promotions team to understand project requirements and deliver designs that effectively communicate our messages.
- Assist with print production.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design output.
We are looking for a talented, entry level, Graphic Designer to join our Health Promotions creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the execution of a mix of deliverables from print to digital, web, branding, social, marketing and promotional materials. Photography and videography experience is a plus.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm at our Wheaton, Central Public Health Center. As a full-time employee you will be eligible for our benefit package which include health insurance, a generous leave program to include, 12 Federal paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, 5 personal days and accrued sick leave. We also offer tuition reimbursement, and we are part of the Public Loan Forgiveness program.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, etc.).
Proven experience in creating a variety of marketing materials such as digital advertisements, videos, flyers, presentations, posters, and signage.
Portfolio showcasing creative design solutions and a keen understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Please share graphic design portfolioWorking skill in the effective design and layout of illustrations and visual aids; working skill in translating ideas into drawings; working skill in verbal and/or written communications; working skill in managing multiple projects or priorities; working skill in the effective use of applicable computer software applications and computer hardware.
