What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Great Expectations Coordinator and College staff to host student support programs and events
- Manage a caseload of Great Expectations students, providing guidance and support
- Serve as a liaison between the College and external partners, enhancing community engagement
- Plan, implement, and attend virtual and in-person information sessions and fairs at various locations
- Provide an overview of program requirements and services to prospective students and stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with marginalized populations
- Ability to work independently and with diverse populations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel to various community locations in Hampton Roads

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with foster youth
- Experience in a social services agency
- Knowledge of video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom)
- Background in performing recruiting activities and events
- Understanding of the foster care system
