What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Green Business Program Coordinator with business certifications, including reviewing applications and conducting site visits
- Contribute to the development and improvement of checklist criteria for certifying businesses
- Conduct research on industry-specific sustainability practices and regulations
- Help coordinate outreach efforts to engage businesses in the Green Business Program
- Create marketing materials and social media content to promote the program

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, sustainability, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 months of professional work experience relevant to the position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience with Canva or a background in graphic design
- Familiarity with social media for marketing efforts
- Interest or background in environmental work
- Experience working with BIPOC and/or marginalized communities
