Qualified accountant – at least 7-10 years PQE
Good understanding of financial/management reporting. Experience with Cash forecasting/management is desirable
Experienced at communicating and influencing at all levels across the organisation including senior leadership
Some commercial background would be an advantage, ideally within FMCG environment
Excellent business English knowledge
PC skills / System knowledge: MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and group reporting and consolidation tool (i.e. BFC)
High attention to detail, accuracy and focus on high customer delivery standards
Self-motivated and well organised approach to work
Ability to achieve results by working with other teams around the world
Strong analytical and technical skills

About the role
The Group Financial Planning and Analysis Team supports development of Diageo’s multi-year strategic plan and leads the annual financial planning process. It leads holistic performance management by proactively delivering quality insights and analysis that support decisions to enable delivery of Diageo’s annual targets (Financial, Market Share and ESG) and external commitments.
The role reports to the Group FP&A Senior Manager and is based in Budapest as part of the Global Strategic Finance and Performance Management team. The role will not have people management responsibility.
The role leads the Cash agenda for the Diageo Group including benchmarking to identify opportunities, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to set goals for cash improvement and developing Diageo’s multi-year strategic Free Cash Flow plan. The role also leads the annual Cash planning process and responsible for the in-year cash performance & delivery analysis.
The role supports the Reward team in the design of measurable, fair and achievable annual employee and exec incentive plans and targets that support delivering Diageo’s strategic plan.
The Group Cash & Reward Senior Manager needs to engage with and influence senior stakeholders (including the Group CFO, CFO LT and other members of the Diageo Exec) and manages a large number of complex relationships across a multitude of market, supply and corporate teams (Regional FP&A teams, Controller’s Group, Supply IR, Tax, Treasury and Reward)
