The Group Reporting team is part of the Group Finance organisation and is a team of five skilled and committed colleagues in Copenhagen - supported by a team of three skilled shared service centre colleagues in Manila. We are a team of various nationalities, and we interact a great deal with finance colleagues in other functions throughout the world.

We are responsible for consolidating the financials from more than 200 entities into one Vestas' Group financial reporting. We comply with International Financial Reporting Standards and we produce accurate and value adding information to Vestas' Management and Board of Directors. Responsibilities
As Group Financial Controller, you will join the Group Reporting team and share the responsibility for

• The group closing process including financial controlling for selected areas in the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
• As a team being accountable for the accuracy of monthly financial consolidation in SAP BPC covering more than 200 reporting entities
• Ensuring quality and timeliness in the Vestas' group financial reporting by leading workflows in the group closing process
• Encouraging improvement in the financial reporting process across functions, countries, and organisational levels and engaging with various stakeholders throughout the world ensuring a smooth closing process and insights into the financials and business drivers
• Being in close dialogue with the business using your accounting and finance capabilities to build business-oriented financial solutions within the framework of IFRS
• Having an eye for extracting the essentials and translating financial figures into accurate and timely reporting and insight to management, ensuring a solid foundation for business decisions
• Acting as finance anchor on various projects within finance

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience with financial controlling and reporting processes in a large, international company or from an international auditing business
• Good accounting and analytical skills
• Ability to use excel tool efficiently to analyse large sets of data and skilled user of IT/accounting systems
• Experience with financial consolidation systems such as SAP BPC or similar
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• MSc in Business Administration & Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar
