      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical records to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes
      - Facilitate appropriate MS-DRG and APC assignment using facility guidelines
      - Demonstrate technical competence with facility encoder and hospital systems
      - Ensure accuracy of coded data and meet established quality standards
      - Provide support and training to Acute Clinical Coders and management

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
      - Minimum 4 years of coding experience in an acute care setting
      - Current certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H, CPC, or CIC
      - Advanced knowledge in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Pharmacology
      - Ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with electronic health record systems
      - Familiarity with UHDDS and coding regulatory guidelines
      - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
      - Prior experience in peer review or training roles
