      Department Overview:

      Flip City Gymnastics offers gymnastics instruction and competitive teams for youth. We aim to build confidence in kids through gymnastics training and skill mastery.

      Anticipated Start Date

      3/1/25

      Anticipated Hours Per Week

      3 to 20

      Schedule:

      • Evenings and weekends
      • 1-5 days per week
      • 3-5 hours per shift
      • M-F 3:00-8:00pm & Sat 9:00am-2:00pm

      Salary/Wage Range:

      Hourly $15.00 to $20.00

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      Flip City Gymnastics is hiring enthusiastic instructors to teach gymnastics classes for toddlers, elementary-aged, and middle school-aged kids. If you have gymnastics experience, fantastic! The more you know, the higher-level classes you can teach. If not, don’t worry—we’ll provide the training you need if you love working with young kids.

      What We’re Looking For:

      • A passion for mentoring and inspiring youth.
      • An enthusiastic, positive, and patient attitude.
      • Acceptance and compassion for students of all genders, orientations, ethnicities, etc.
      • Gymnastics experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train you to teach beginner levels.
      • Availability to work evenings and weekends, 1-5 days per week, for 3-5 hours each day.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Lead small groups of children through gymnastics circuits, stations, and games.
      • Provide a positive, encouraging, and safe environment for kids to learn and grow.
      • Communicate with parents regarding student skill development and effort during class.
      • Supervise students during open gym time.

      Compensation:

      • $14-19/hr depending on ability to lead and motivate a small group of kids.
      • Free adult open gym time for you.
      • Free youth open gym time for your kids.

      Physical Demands

      Frequent walking, standing, squatting, reaching, and lifting while moving mats and assisting gymnasts with skills.
