What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interact with members by phone and email, providing support and information
- Respond to inquiries from non-members about Handiham Program Membership
- Assist Handiham Program members with accessibility of Amateur Radio equipment for individuals with disabilities
- Support students preparing for license exams and maintain communication regarding their progress
- Promote the Handiham Program by attending events and managing booth activities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be 18 years of age with necessary education and/or experience
- Active Ham Radio Operator with 5+ years of regular on-air activity and club involvement
- Experienced in operating CW, HF, and VHF/UHF for at least 5 years
- Minimum 2 years of mentoring experience (Elmering) to help others obtain their licenses
- FCC Extra Class Amateur Radio License required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience using screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA
- Familiarity with accessible ham radio assistive technology
- Experience in advanced ham radio operations, including satellite contacts and fox hunting
- Knowledge of logging software and various digital modes
