      Neuberger Berman is seeking a Head of Business Enablement and Transformation to join the New York office, reporting dually into the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief of Staff. In this key role, this person will engage across end-to-end firmwide processes (as well as discrete ones where relevant) to optimize operational efficiency and transformation by involving technology driven solutions. The Head of Enterprise Data Governance and Continuous Improvement will report into this role and they will partner closely together on important initiatives.

      Responsibilities:

      • Serve as a lead advisor and collaborator across key operations, technology and business segment functions to identify opportunities, architect solutions, and ensure effectiveness and execution of project plans.

      • Closely partner with business leaders to assess scope and prioritization, and successfully allocate resources in a strategic manner.

      • Oversee multiple projects by providing guidance to drive best in class solutions and ensure accountability across all initiatives to completion.

      • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and proposing solutions for efficiency.

      • Stay informed of modern technology trends (including AI, data science, vendor tools, etc) and data governance initiatives, and discovering opportunities for application at Neuberger Berman.

      Previous Experience & Expertise Required:

      • 15+ years of relevant work experience within the asset management industry, including:

        • Evaluating business processes, identifying potential improvement areas, and developing optimization strategies.

        • Supporting strategic planning for technology and operations

      • Broad knowledge of current/modern technology concepts (experience with AI and data governance is highly preferred).

      • Strong project management skills with ability to problem solve with a pragmatic approach.

      • Ability to diagnose issues quickly and foresee potential issues; having the authority to make swift and informed decisions to shape the transformation strategy

      • Comfortable reframing business problems using a consultative mindset.

      Leadership Capabilities:

      • Effective at leading and influencing across all levels of seniority, while orchestrating and advising across multiple project implementations.

      • Transparent and frequent with information sharing with all stakeholders.

      • Strong verbal and written communicator who can effectively toggle from teamwork to independent execution.

      • Highly collaborative and fosters teamwork with others.

      • Driven for results; one who can be creative yet pragmatic and is not afraid to challenge status quo to elevate Neuberger Berman.

      Compensation Details

      The salary range for this role is $300,000-$350,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
