- Develop and implement a comprehensive KOL engagement strategy to enhance the company’s reputation and influence within the veterinary community.
- Develop and maintain a global platform for KOL management for the entire company across species.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, including veterinarians, researchers, and industry experts.
- Coordinate and manage KOL activities, including advisory boards, speaker programs, and scientific collaborations.
- Monitor and analyze KOL feedback to inform product development, marketing strategies, and educational initiatives.
- University Affairs:
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with veterinary schools, universities, and research institutions globally, incorporating the current US focused team and expanding globally.
- Collaborate with academic institutions to support research projects, clinical trials, and educational programs.
- Represent the company at academic conferences, seminars, and industry events to promote our products and initiatives.
- Develop and manage scholarship programs, internships, and other educational opportunities for veterinary students
- Advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the veterinary industry, with a focus on KOL management and academic partnerships.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and academic institutions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Role Description
The Head of Global KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Management and Academic Affairs will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our engagement strategy with key opinion leaders and academic institutions across geographies and all species. This position requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, clinical research and veterinary academia with strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for advancing our business through collaboration and education.
