      Your Role:

      The Head of Manufacturing plays a crucial role as a key member of the senior site leadership team and actively contributes to defining the strategic direction of the site. You will report directly to the Site Head of Operations. Your responsibilities will encompass leading all aspects of manufacturing operations, including EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), quality control, production, engineering, as well as fostering collaboration with external customers and business partners. The manufacturing operations entail overseeing a team of 300+ production members and managing a diverse portfolio of products, such as pharmaceutical filtration devices and membranes used in Virus and Aseptic applications, which serve as significant growth drivers for the company.

      As the Head of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for:

      • Implementing cutting-edge production systems and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) strategies, with a focus on proactive risk mitigation and fostering a culture of safety.
      • Cultivating a highly functional, engaged, and positive organizational culture that is receptive to continuous learning.
      • Developing teams capable of solving complex problems and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
      • Managing a large budget with fiscal responsibility.
      • Establishing and actively managing performance targets related to safety, customer satisfaction, quality, productivity, environmental compliance, and financial results.
      • Creating and executing a capital strategy to ensure supply reliability as well as meeting EHS and quality goals.
      • Maintaining a strong and productive partnership between operations and external business partners.
      • Promoting talent development through stretch assignments, coaching, rotations, and effective performance management.
      • Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, health and safety, and quality regulations.

      Who you are:

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, engineering, bio sciences, or a related field
      • Proficiency in quality principles, methods, and Lean Six Sigma
      • Strong leadership and influencing skills within a matrix organization

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • APICS certification and Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)
      • Over 8 years of progressive experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment
      • Thorough understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Just-in-Time (JIT), Total Quality Management (TQM), and quality systems
      • Familiarity with ISO, cGMP, EU MDR, and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment
      • Ability to maintain focus and make pragmatic decisions under pressure
      • Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills across different organizations, cultures, and functions
      • Strong risk management, communication, and interpersonal skills
