As part of our vision to transform housing services we are looking for a motivated experienced Head of Service, who is able to lead Voids, Lettings and Major Adaptions Teams.
Driving the delivery of works, you will under the importance of collaborating with colleagues across the Council. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to help Croydon drive up standards, improve performance and resident satisfaction, whilst learning from and understanding the importance of working closely with residents.
You will take the strategic lead for management of our empty homes with responsibility for the entire end to end process. Continuously improving our approach to letting our empty homes quickly, ensuring void rent loss is minimised and providing homes that our residents are proud to live in.
You will lead our lettings team and work closely with allocations, repairs, tenancy as well as other Council departments and client manage contractors.
You will understand how important it is to deliver and support and adaptation service that improves the lives of residents, supporting them to remain in their homes and independence.
