      Job summary

      GP and Health Assessment Doctor Cardiff and Vale Hospital | Fixed Term - 3 months | Part time Salary up to £99,500 per annum (pro rata) dependent on experience (plus paid indemnity for your work with Nuffield Health) 24 hours per week: (3 days) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday This is a three month fixed term contract. The primary base is Cardiff Bay hospital but may be required to cover other sites.

      Cardiff & Vale Hospitals. We host 2 fully digital ultra clean air operating theatres, an excellent physiotherapy department, 24-hour high dependency, surgical and medical RMO cover and exemplary outpatients and diagnostic service. The patient feedback for our hospital is one of the best within the Nuffield Health estate and this is something our staff and consultants are very proud of.

Working alongside our experienced Health and Wellbeing Physiologists, you'll deliver a variety of face to face Health Assessments and GP consultations, with a focus on wellbeing and the ability to monitor patient outcomes in a safe environment. No quotas or unrealistic targets - just great care. As a GP and Health Assessment Doctor, you will be

    • GMC registered GP on the GP register
    • Licenced to practice and have a minimum of 6 months GP experience (minimum 4 sessions per week) in the UK (private or NHS) with knowledge of UK care pathways. The 6 months GP experience must be in a traditional GP setting (NHS GP surgery). Any other work including out of hours work will not be counted
    • Competent in a range of health screening services, such as smear tests, breast examinations and venepuncture, as well interpreting results and ECGs
