What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process medical claims via data entry for 90% of your workday
- Adjudicate claims effectively to meet production, quality, and regulatory metrics
- Follow up on claims requiring additional information
- Refer complex claims to a Lead and/or auditor for further review
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in health or health insurance claims
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Some experience in a medical office setting
- Accurate typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Must have excellent internet connectivity and a secure, quiet workspace for remote work

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with specific claims processing software
- Experience with special projects or initiatives in a healthcare setting
- Previous work experience in a remote capacity
